What is ActionItem?
ActionItem is a new type of agile group collaboration service designed to get things done together. With ActionItem you can stop using email and spreadsheets to manage your tasks, and instead use a commitment-based approach to working with your team - whether they are next door, in a different city, or in a different time zone.

How does ActionItem differ from project management software?
ActionItem is not a formal project management tool. ActionItem is meant for ad-hoc collaboration, where teams quickly form together and work on small, focused amounts of work that is currently managed from your Inbox and spreadsheets.

What are the advantages of ActionItem?
Fast, focused, and commitment-based collaboration. Use ActionItem to quickly build teams and get your work done fast!

How much does ActionItem cost?
The basic service is free. You can create Action Items, invite people to join Action Items, and store documents up to 250MB. Later, as our service evolves, we will offer ActionItem for Small Business and ActionItem for the Enterprise.

How do I create an Action Item?
When you first sign in, follow the instructions on the Welcome page.

How do I use ActionItem for an existing project?
Easy. After you sign up for an ActionItem account and are a registered user, just send an email to your colleagues and cc new@actionitem.com. All of the people that received your email will be invited to the new Action Item!

I lost my password - how do I get a new one?
Go to the page where you normally sign in (here) and click on the "I forgot my password" link. You will be asked for the email address that you used to sign in and a new password will be mailed to you.
